An entrance requirement of most nursery schools is that the child be toilet trained. But if he occasionally has lapses in his toilet training, he can be helped along when he sees that other children who are his peers can manage this accomplishment. One of the advantages of nursery school is that, in addition to its greater facilities, it provides an environment of children interacting upon each other, so that at an early stage the child is given the opportunity to learn how to get along well and to play well with children his own age. It prepares him for school.
